Summary ​

This minor release brings support of region classification models, adding further extension to supported problem types, read more in dedicated section

Major Features ​

Major features introduced in this release are described below. This release includes other changes related to fine-tuning FVV capabilities, bugfixes, UX and other improvements which are omitted in this article.

Business logic was extended with inclusion of Division Node, enabling attaching logic to every Nth iteration of input event for example.

Region Classification Model ​

We have added the Region Classification Model, a machine-learning model designed to classify and categorize specific regions within an image frame. This model enhances the platform's capabilities by allowing users to identify and categorize distinct areas of interest, such as objects, zones, or patterns.

Examples of Use

  • Security Monitoring: Automatically detect and classify different regions within a surveillance feed, such as identifying restricted areas, detecting intrusions, or monitoring specific zones.

  • Quality Control: In manufacturing, classify regions of a product to identify defects, ensure correct assembly, or verify compliance with quality standards.

New nodes ​

Icon  Division

Division node allows users to divide an input number by a specified value configured within the node. This new node simplifies mathematical operations within the processing flow, providing more flexibility and control over numerical data.




Compatibility ​

The Video Vision platform was tested on Ubuntu Server 22.04.03 LTS. No breaking changes were identified.
