What's New in 2.6 ​

Welcome to FORXAI Video Vision 2.6!

Summary ​

This minor release brings several improvements to available logic for creating Flows and enhances machine learning capabilities.

Review New nodes to read about ability to create user mappings inside Flows, and create logic used for detecting overlaps between polygons. This allows creation of Projects which measure occupancy of products over conveyor belt and other similar usecases.

Feedback to the user from system was enhanced by introduction of recoverable error states, which allow resuming standard operations after error root cause was resolved.

New neural networks were added, further improving FVV platform capabilities to run YOLO classification and segmentation models.

Major Features ​

Major features introduced in this release are described below. This release includes other changes related to fine-tuning FVV capabilities, bugfixes, UX and other improvements which are omitted in this article.

New nodes ​

Icon  Dynamic Selector

The Dynamic Selector node converts input values to new output values based on the configuration.

Icon  Construct a List

The Construct a List node generates a list by combining multiple inputs, where each input becomes an item in the list.

Icon  Polygon Overlap

The Polygon Overlap node calculates the percentage of overlap between a region of interest (ROI) polygon and one or more other polygons.

Recoverable error states ​

Recoverable error states enables system to react to resolutions of errors, resuming standard operations. Once recovery happens system resumes original state.

Additional YOLO neural networks ​

FVV Platform now supports additional neural networks: YOLO classifier and YOLO segmentation. This enables users to run additional models in their configured projects.

Additional improvements ​

  • Added functionality to download all models on the Models page.
  • Access to Video Vision dashboards is now restricted to authenticated users, ensuring the protection of the camera stream.

Compatibility ​

The Video Vision platform was tested on Ubuntu Server 22.04.03 LTS. No breaking changes were identified.

This version powers minor release of Forxai Mirror v2.2.0.

Changes in hotfix 2.6.1 ​

This hotfix release was prepared on 8.10.2024 and is direct upgrade from v2.6.0.

This version powers hotfix release of Forxai Mirror v2.2.1.

Fixed Issues ​

  • Fixed an issue on the FORXAI Mirror where images were missing from reports when the "Include images" option was selected.
